Over the last few years, the Archaeological Museum of Naples (MANN) has been constantly striving to strengthen and consolidate its ties with local communities and territory.
Mann intends to establish itself as a cultural reference both for the extraordinary works of art it hosts and for its ability to guide visitors and Neapolitan citizens through the multifaceted, articulate and extremely rich culture the city has to offer.
ExtraMann is a partnership project between the National Archaeological Museum of Naples and the network of new organisations created in Naples in recent years to enhance the neglected and scarcely known cultural heritage of the city.
The ExtraMann project is especially open to innovation in its approach to strategies for ‘Audience Development’ involving the Archaeological Museum of Naples and these new organisations, with the University Federico II in a coordination and facilitation capacity.
The first result of this initiative, carried out through the creation of a ‘collaboration lab’ between MANN and a series of cultural associations and cooperatives, consists in having created a card that will be available to all MANN visitors, enabling them to access all cultural sites involved in the initiative at discounted prices.
The advantages the ExtraMann card offers
For visitors
- Have access to a guaranteed integrated cultural offer
- Obtain discounts to visit other cultural sites of the city
For the cultural sites involved
- Have access to a guaranteed integrated cultural offer
- Increase notoriety and visibility
- Increase flow of visitors
Given its objective of extending the network of partners, the ExtraMann project is always open to new subscriptions.
